I found my recent stay at Intercontinental Le Vendome Beirut to be a mix of great moments and some disappointments. The location is superb and the staff were kind and helpful, but the dining options and some room conditions left something to be desired. Overall, I enjoyed my time, but there were aspects that could be improved upon.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and tastefully furnished, with a calming view over the Mediterranean from the balcony. However, I did notice a cigarette smell in one of the rooms, which was annoying.
Service
10.0
The service was extremely friendly and helpful from reception to room service, making my stay more enjoyable.
Location

The hotel's location is perfect, close to Zatouney Bay for a lovely stroll along the waterfront and within walking distance to local attractions.
Dining
7.0
Dining at Sydney's had its ups and downs. While the beautiful views and fresh fruit were great, I missed having a breakfast buffet and found the options somewhat limited.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel lacks recreational facilities like a gym or pool, which I found disappointing since guests have to walk to the nearby Phoenicia for those amenities.

My stay at Intercontinental Le Vendome Beirut was a mix of highs and lows. The suite was stylish and offered a calming view over the Mediterranean, though I felt the overall décor was a bit tired. The service was generally excellent, with helpful staff like Benoit and Ali, who made my experience more enjoyable. However, I was disappointed by the limited dining options and the absence of basic amenities like a pool or gym.

Rooms
7.0
The suite I stayed in showcased classical French detail and had a lovely balcony with a sea view. However, the décor felt outdated, which was a bit of a letdown for a luxury boutique hotel.
Service
9.0
Service was great overall; the staff, particularly Benoit and Jacqueline, were friendly and professional. They went out of their way to make my stay pleasant, which I truly appreciated.
Location
10.0
The location was excellent, very close to Zatouney Bay, perfect for walking along the waterfront and enjoying the various restaurants nearby. It truly feels convenient near the sea.
Dining
8.0
Dining was a mixed experience. The food was nice, but the options were somewhat limited, and I found some dishes, like the hollandaise sauce, lacking. The bar's ambiance was enjoyable, especially with its very nice sea view.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel lacks facilities like a pool or gym. I had to walk a bit to use the amenities at the larger Phoenicia Hotel, which was inconvenient. This was a downside for a hotel marketed as a luxury boutique.

I had a lovely two-night stay at Le Vendome, where the staff were friendly and attentive, despite the hotel being quite empty. My room was spacious and had a stunning balcony view of the sea, although it could benefit from some updates in the coming years. While the dining experience had its highlights, like the pleasant service at Sydney's, the breakfast options weren't quite up to my expectations.

Rooms
9.0
My room was large, beautifully appointed, and offered a lovely sea view, though it showed signs of needing a refresh.
Service
10.0
The staff were masterfully attentive and very friendly, always eager to assist with anything I needed, contributing significantly to my enjoyable stay.
Location

The hotel’s location is excellent, overlooking the sea and close to Zaytouna Bay, ideal for enjoying local restaurants and peaceful waterfront strolls.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast at Sydney's was beautifully presented, but I found the limited menu lacking compared to a buffet, and I was disappointed by the coffee quality.
Facilities
8.0
The common areas of the hotel were charming and spotless, though I wish there were more expansive spaces to enjoy.

My stay at Intercontinental Le Vendome Beirut was a good experience, thanks to its elegant boutique atmosphere and friendly staff. The location was perfect, offering great sea views and easy access to local attractions. However, I found the breakfast options a bit limited and missed a true Lebanese flavor in the menu.

Rooms
9.0
The rooms were spacious and tastefully furnished, featuring full or Juliet balconies with wonderful sea views. I did notice a cigarette smell in one of the non-smoking rooms, which was a bit off-putting.
Service
9.0
The service was excellent overall, with friendly and professional staff, especially Natalie who showed us to our rooms. They were also helpful in arranging reliable taxis for us.
Location
10.0
The location is superb, very close to Zaytouna Bay with access to great restaurants and lovely walks along the waterfront. It offers easy access to the main attractions in the city.
Dining

Breakfast at Sydney’s was decent, but I found it limited and lacking the rich flavors of Lebanese cuisine. The coffee was quite light and not to my taste, but there were some nice options on the menu.
Facilities

While the hotel had a nice pool and spa shared with the Phoenecia, accessing it required a walk across a busy thoroughfare, which was a bit inconvenient.

I had a wonderful stay at Intercontinental Le Vendome Beirut, highlighted by its beautiful Mediterranean views and excellent service. While the atmosphere felt cosy and boutique, I did find some aspects like the limited dining options a bit disappointing. Overall, it's a great choice for anyone looking for luxury in a prime location! 🌊✨
